Government of Canada conferred on him Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal in January 2003 for his outstanding work in the community he lives, his province and indeed the Canada.

In March 1994, he was invited by the Canada Club to be head table guest on Luncheon meeting on Friday March 18 at Royal York Hotel.

In 1991, he was appointed Co Chair of Race Relations Advisory Council on Advertising set u by the Canadian Advertising Foundation. He served on it for more than three years.
